Overall quality seems to have gone down

I purchased this blanket online in a queen size to give as a gift. When I opened the box it looked more like a twin size because it was so flat. I have purchased several of these down blankets as gifts in the past and they have always had more down fill. The most recent one felt chintzy and thin, although the improved narrower border seems like it will prevent rolling and wrinkling and creasing of it; it also seemed flat and airy. It definitely was not the quality of those I have purchased in the past. I kept it as I had taken it to NY and it seemed too much trouble to return it. I think I'm done purchasing these expensive blankets as the quality seems to have gone down. I put it in a dryer to fluff it up and it helped only minimally. It was definitely different from the nice puffy ones I had purchased in the past.
