Black sheet have become hard to find, except from some iffy-looking sellers. These were fine- well-made, well-finished. They'd have been better in a higher thread count, but not bad.

Just a year ago I purchased wrinkle-resistant sheets, and they were initially fine. All too soon, after only about six washings, the bottom sheet developed small holes and ripped when I put it on the mattress. So after a bit of a hassle and negotiation I returned it and tried to find another color to match the turquoise top sheet.
I found these sheets and figured the peacock was a close enough match, but it's only 210 thread count! I got it anyway and gotta say I agree with the other reviewers about the poor quality. TCS previously had wonderful brightly colored sheets in 300tc, but now the only color left of these sheets is a (nasty) dark brown. No brightly colored decent quality thread count sheets can be found here in California king sizes, at least for me.
It's very disappointing that the quality of these sheets has dropped so quickly, and yet the prices have risen. Company Store, what happened???

Although I am a big fan of The Company Store's down comforters, I am sooooo disappointed in these so-called 100% Combed cotton sheets. I can't complain about the color because I ordered black for my son and black is black but the quality is terrible. I should have read the reviews because these are the stiffest, scratchiest sheets I have ever encountered and with the price you pay for them, it brings down the value to a ZERO even though they were on sale. I have washed them countless times (5 before they even went on the bed). I should have returned them but I had washed them. I followed instructions on the internet about washing with distilled vinegar, with and without laundry detergent, with and without fabric softener and they still are terrible. The moment I see good quality sheets with great reviews in black, I am getting them and getting rid of these. It has taught me to read reviews before purchasing.

Read the reviews and decided to scale my order back to just one set and was glad I did.  While the color is a nice bright yellow (sunset) the material is very coarse.  I don't care much about wrinkles, and didn't notice them but am very worried about the burlap feel. We'll see if my son can stand them, I wouldn't put them on my bed.

Scratchy poor quality cotton. Worse yet, the pillowcases arrived with ripped open seams; they hadn't even been sewn properly. I can fix that problem, of course, but I shouldn't have to sew up a brand new set of cases. I am keeping these only because the kid needs X-long sheets for his dorm bed and there isn't time to return them. Do yourself a favor and do not bother with these sheets.

In looking around for nice colorful twin XL sheets there's not much out there. The Company Store used to carry some fine quality, but it seems that like so many other things, this has slipped downward. The thread count for these are not even listed on the website (not sure about catalog). They are only 210 thread count! These sheets were purchased for a college-bound daughter and since the colors I wanted were on sale, I picked up 4 sets for home use. Washed them and put them on the bed. My daughter couldn't sleep on them and complained they felt terrible-like sandpaper. She kept tossing and turning and was very conscious of the poor texture of the material. They are stiff, cardboard-like and really, like a brown paper bag. I spent a LOT of time looking for the right colors to match a duvet, bought 6 sets of various colors, and now will probably send them back. Who needs sheets you can't sleep on because the texture and quality are terrible but the colors are nice?

I have used and washed these 3 times now and true to form of percale weave, there are no knurls or balling. The color is not fast, it remains bright after 3 washings. The percale could be a bit more tightly woven...but essentialy it is of good weight for the stated 210 threadcount. Excellent value for day-to-day sheet needs! I would say an essential basic.

I'm not ususally much of a percale kinda person but the price was right so I decided to give them a shot, they are wonderfully cool and crisp to sleep on in the winter I dont like flannel or fleece. The color pallette is terrific and I love that I can, mix and match coordinating colors. It doesnt bother me that it wrinkles it is percale for heavens sake, thats why you have a blanket.
