These sheets are terrible they pill so badly we feel like we are sleeping on a terry cloth towel. I have bought several sets of the velvet flannel sheets and absolutely love them but they don't come in a Cal King. I am returning these sheets.

These are the 2nd set of flannel sheets that I have purchased from Company Store.  These are oh so soft, but... After the 3rd use, I have a rip in the flat sheet.  This is not the first time that this has happened, but it is the earliest.  My other sheets were well used when I noticed rips, but this is just the 3rd use.  Pretty disappointed in these.  Also, I have noticed that they pile easily, but they are soft.  Now, I am not sure if I should order a replacement or mend and move on to a different product/store.

I have several sets of these sheets, have used them for 3 years with no loss of softness, and I honestly can't wait until cooler nights to put them on the bed. Here in AZ, I can use them with no blanket for awhile, then start layering. They are exceptionally soft and cozy. I usually cool wash and hang to dry but the regular sizes still shrank enough over 8-9 washings that the bottom sheet barely fit on my moderately deep mattress anymore, and the top sheet is just a little high on the sides (length seems OK, fortunately). I recently got some of the extra-deep sized sheets, and they are huge, even after using a pretty warm dryer the 2nd washing. Maybe in a few more cycles they'll shrink too.

I don't understand how some previous reviews have been so negative.  These sheets are so wonderful we can't wait to get into bed; last night we talked about it on the way home from a party....looking forward to it.  They are soft and luxurious and so wonderfully warm we don't need an electric blanket.   In fact, just ordered a second set so we are never without them in the cold weather.  How can these be the same sheets others have panned?

For the price, these sheets are suprisingly mediocre. I've purchased better quality flannel sheets from Costco at 1/4 the price. Plus as another reviewer stated, these sheets are oversized. Spare yourself the disappointment, pass on these sheets.

reading all of the reviews, i have to think that there must be different batches of varying quality going out. very disappointing as the Company Store has never let me down before. several washings have not improved them. i was so confident they would be fabulous i threw all the packaging away and receipts away. i guess Goodwill will be getting almost $300 worth of unused bedding.

We've used flannel sheets in the winter for years and loved them. When I bought these the other sheets paled in comparison. so much so that I immediately ordered more sets!
These sheets are so soft they feel like a baby's fleece blanket. They are thick, so the 5 oz will likely do in many situations. We live in the south so this flannel sheet negates the need for a blanket of any kind. I don't get the negative reviews. I don't know how these could be called rough. Even my husband comments almost nightly about how soft these flannel sheets are. We have a king size bed with the deep pcokets and I launder both sheets and the pillowcases in our front loading washer with no problem at all. I guess if you have a small washer you would have to divide it up, but that's not a problem for us. I ordered the light blue (it's a lovely colonial blue; however it doesn't seem to be available anylonger.) and cobblestone. The cobblestone is a medium taupey beige, not as rich a color as I thought but it's OK and just feels so good!

Bought these Jan. 2012 because I needed deep sheets and am sorry I did. The texture is coarse and rough even though I carefully follow the washing directions.
These are not luxury sheets!

Was expecting soft cozy sheets, instead, I find these to be nothing special.  They are very heavy duty, more like a light weight blanket rather than sheets. I bought the deep flat sheet to go with our new, deep mattress bed.  I have never seen a top sheet so large.  I needed to be laundered separately it was so large and the material so heavy.
When I bought these sheets, I was unable to get matching pillowcases so instead I purchased complimentary ones in the 5 oz. flannel.  The pillow cases are wonderful.  Very soft and cozy.  I wish I had bought the 5oz flannel sheets instead of these.

Bought this before it was actually out in the catalogs. The 'Chat Rep' found this for me. I have an almost 15yo heavy polyester filled XL King Comforter (when they 1st came out of the market). The cotton material covering that the batting . (Most of my family is allergic to down & wool.) It's so heavy that we couldn't use it as a comforter. I decided to fold it in half to make a thicker batting for my aging mattress & even put a 'gift' expensive foam insert in-between the 2 layers of the folded comforter. When folded in 1/2 it's 47"x84" + about 5" thick, so around a 'twin size'). I also have a Luxury 5ozs King Size Duvet for my old 30yo Down Comforter, so now it's warm enough so I don't need to replace my old down comforter. The 6ozs. weight is so nice. I use it as a Duvet cover on my old XL King Comforter. The cotton covering in 2wks decided to just start ripping apart at all the thread box seams. So now it has this wonderful new flannel Duvet cover on it. The heavier weight is worth the price. I sleep on it every night and have yet to see 1 pill. The 'only' thing I can say that is slightly off is the pictured Chamomile color is not quite correct. It has more blush to the color than what's shown. It's beautiful. I'm going to be ordering another one quickly, as my mattress pad died & use it for one and then put a regular sheet on top of that. The thought behind that is that it will also hold the silky bottom sheets in place and keep the Twin Duvet 'fold-under' in place as it will go on top of the polyester comforter to keep it from trying to scoot off the bed from when I get up. Yes, I'm odd. I use flannel 365 days a year. I have to wear a C-Pap + Oxygen Mask every time I lay down. The flannel nap keeps the noise buffered from the air flowing out of the 'Pillow Cannulas' of my mask. Percale sheets make the sound almost unbearable to try to sleep with. I carry flannel pillow cases with me where ever I go, so I can get to sleep instead of having the air blow into & onto my face and arms directly from bouncing off the percale. If I was to change anything I would remove the 'ties' on the corners. On my 5ozs. King size Duvet. Three of the ties broke off within the 1st week. I believe #1) on the larger Duvets there needs to be 3-4 attachments per side. #2) I believe buttons would work much better than the ties. On my 30yo down comforter I sewed on a button on each side of the corner. Your ties ripped off and left giant tangled knots around the buttons. Plus on the King Size, a tie every 118" is a touch too far apart to assist you on keeping the middle of the comforter You could put Button Holes on your Duvet Covers. Then on 'your comforters' add buttons. Giving those of us with older comforters the capabilities of sewing buttons on our comforters to hold them in place. I'm someone that does not toss & turn in bed. I have to fully wake up to turn over, as I have to readjust my C-Pap/Oxygen Mask hoses and Pillow Cannulas. Just a thought on a way to make the comforter's more secure inside their Duvet envelope.
