While I have noticed a change in the hand over the years; I still love the company stores percale sheets. They are crisp cool and best the price for California King sheets. I don't put my sheets in the dryer, I have a small clothes line outback and dry them with air. Cuts down on the wrinkles a bit, but the fresh smell is the best!!
The above review and few others I have read crack me up! Do some research on percale before you purchase. That will ensure you know what you are getting. Percale does wrinkle!
Wash them in a good quality detergent, hang them dry or iron them. personally I don't mind the wrinkles.... I love how cool and crisp they feel.
