They are soft and smooth. Granted, they do come out of the dryer a bit wrinkled, but they do tend to smooth out once on the bed.

I can't understand how these sheets at 500 thread count are considered luxury. They looked great in the package but when I washed them prior to first use, they were a wrinkled mess and very thin. I am very disappointed.
