Review 1 for Pineberry Flannel Duvet Cover and Sham
This is a simply gorgeous design, not to mention the fabric is phenomenally soft and lovely.
I would have rated it 5 stars across the board if it weren't for the vast discrepancy in color between the website & catalog pictures and the true color that I found it to be when it arrived. The fabric and design is beautiful -- simply beautiful but I was VERY shocked and disappointed when I opened it and saw the ivory background. It was the background color that played a major role in my decision to purchase this duvet pattern. As the saying goes, "a picture is worth a 1,000 words." People tend to rely on photos over description and though it said "cream" in the description, I would actually call it ivory.
I debated on sending it back but don't have that kind of $$ to return it. When purchasing online, it is important that the colors be portrayed as accurately as possible and though there will always be a degree of varying hues, this was not even close. Even the catalog showed the picture to be in the tan family, not ivory.
As a suggestion fwiw, TCS might want to consider double checking the colors when printing and uploading pictures to the site. Thank you.
