Review 1 for 5 oz. Solid Flannel Supersize Duvet Cover / Comforter Cover
The 'only' thing bad I can say about this is the 'ribbons' at the corners . Not sure if it's b/c my down comforter is over 30yrs old or not but I had nothing to tie the ribbons to. So I sewed on a button on each corner to give the ties something to hold on to. All I can think of is newer comforters come with button holes or something of that sort to secure the comforter inside the Duvet. My comforter cover is a slick nylon. I had planned on buying a new comforter, no more. After getting the Duvet + a twin sheet to make pillow cases out of (they were out of them in the color I chose), I'm in heaven. Prior to this I slept with a 2 flannel sheets with the comforter on top. I still got cold, yet I sweated every time I went to bed. No more sweats. I am 'always' warm and have decided not to replace my comforter now b/c I'm nice and toasty. It is a pain until you figure it out on how to get the comforter in there and secured so it doesn't slip out of place. Untied the top was slipping towards the bottom of the bed. I wanted a flannel Duvet b/c I have to be on Oxygen and a C-Pap machine at night and I've found over the last 7yrs that flannel breaks up the sound of the air blowing out of the cannulas and onto a percale type sheet, which will either keep you from falling asleep or the air will blow back into your face or other parts of your upper body. The only reason I only gave it a 4 star on overall rating is b/c that is an awful lot of buttons to close on the bottom and it's a 'pain' to do those upper ties until you learn the tricks. The flannel is wonderful. I've had it over a month and it is still as smooth as can be. No pilling like my other flannel sheets and pillow cases. It's almost like a percale sheet b/c it's so smooth and soft. No heavy, raised nap on either product. Very easy to wash and dries quickly. It does not wrinkle at all.
