My bedroom was feeling kind of dull to me. I wanted something to brighten up the room to give it a more airy and vibrant feel. I seem to gravitate toward quilts geared toward teens (I love PBTeen quilts and comforters) and its always hard for me to find something that has a look that really grabs me. lately I seem to be switching quilts/comforters too as I get tired of the look and want a change. When I saw this Cordova quilt online I liked it instantly. I went back and forth on whether to order it - I wasn't sure if it would be too bright. My husband does not like bright colors and I knew he would go for something "loud" in our master bedroom. This comforter is bright indeed but in a very tasteful way. The colors are a bit muted in the sense that they have a washed look - the pattern is slightly faded but the colors are still vibrant. And it suits my taste - it looks funky compared to looking too "quilty." Its amazing the way this quilt makes the room look brighter and lighter - I love it. I ordered 2 regular shams and 1 Euro sham to go on our king bed. I decided to come back online and order 2 more Euro shams but they aren't in stock. Who knows if they will be back (if ever) so I am ordering 2 Nantucket Euro shams (turquoise should go well with the Cordova quilt) to go with this Cordova set. One thing to note is that this quilt is on the lighter side. It is perfect for summer - or spring or fall in a mild climate. I like to sleep with a quilt that has more weight to it so I layered the bedding with a cotton blanket I bought a while back. That blanket with the Cordova quilt provides the weight I am comfortable with. I plan on layering a down-alternative comforter under this quilt for the colder New England winter months as I dont see myself getting tired of the pattern or colors of this quilt for a long time. Love it!

This is a beautiful quilt with the perfect weight for Texas year-round. Would work well as a summer quilt in colder climates, too. Great, cozy texture, vibrant colors. Looks beautiful in my guest room. I absolutely love it!

It is a beautiful quilt. I normally have a comforter, even in the summer. I was looking for a change and this one is just the ticket. The colors are not quite as vibrant as I thought they would be from the picture on the site, but that does not mean it isn't great. The colors work and I will likely appreciate it more in the long run because they aren't crazy bright.
