Shell is NOT Pink--Dingy would be more accurate
Date:August 30, 2013
I just received the comforter I ordered. The Shell color is NOT pink as is seen when you select the color. Its not even remotely close to the color swatch when you select a color online. A better description of the color name would be "Dingy" or "Dirty". A more neutral but less descriptive color name that's somewhat accurate might be "Light Tan". The color is so not-pink that I actually checked to see if I'd been sent the wrong item on both the packing slip AND the plastic cover. Against my white sheets, it'll look even more dingy. If you are buying this with the intention of not using a duvet cover, reconsider if you were planning to buy the Shell looking for a soft pink. Also, there are several loose strings on the comforter. I'm disappointed in an overall way. It was expensive.
