I am very impressed with this comforter. I had to toss my other quilt (bought elsewhere) because the feathers were coming out of the material and I am allergic to feathers. During the process of deciding which weight to order, I read the info on weight, reviews, and spoke w/customer service who were outstanding. I decided on the lightweight to use for the fall, winter and spring seasons with the hope that it will be warm enough. The weather has been quite chilly here in Minnesota at night and so far I've been plenty warm. I also use flannel duvet(s) to cover my comforter which adds another level of warmth to it as well. In reference to another review complaining of the crunchy sound -- yes, it does have that sound but I personally enjoy the sound. Perhaps because it reminds me of the awesome European comforter that I used during my days in Kenya, E Africa. It was my first intro to comforters and duvets and that comforter also had a crunchy sound during movement. I realize, however, this is an individual preference not to dismiss any one's complaints about it.

I have a comforter I bought less than 6 months ago. The material makes noise like crinkling paper everytime you move so much it wakes me up if I move much. I was told it would get better as used and washed. I washed it for the second time today and it ripped. I havent put it in a dryer just air dried. I wasted my money

I bought the Extra Warmth Primaloft comfortor in Saffron and I love it so much! The color is gorgeous and it works great in cold or warm weather. I grew up using The Company Store comforters and I remember back in the 90's the colors were very dull, but the dyes are much richer now. I have always used real down and I am very pleased with the down alternative because it feels the same without feathers poking me at night. One suggestion I have for an improvement of the design is to make the edging of the comforter the same as the shams. Keep up the good work!

This comforter has surpassed my high expectations for a comforter that offers warmth with breathability. The latter is a challenging feature to find in duvet cover sets, which in my experience though warm and nice-looking tend to overheat me at night. I ordered the twin medium fill peacock blue comforter and love it! It keeps the cold away, but doesn't leave you sweltering. It is in a word - optimal. It's not often that I shell out this much for bedding, but I'm so glad I did for this one. So comfy, I don't want to leave my bed in the morning.

I purchased a down comforter a few years ago but needed a lightwight comforter for my 11year old who has allergies. Continues to get softer after each wash, Per the other review, after one wash the primaloft sewn in the seams went away & looks magnificent. I love the color choices available & will continue to shop here for years to come.
