Pretty comforter but noisy. Kind of a " crinkling " stiff material sound.. That said, I decided that wasn't a problem for me. I took it to the laundry mat before I put it on my bed-I don't use any bedding before I wash it. It did soften up a little BUT--- when I got it out of the dryer there were little tiny feathers and pieces of feathers ALL over it. I brought it home and used my hand vac to clean it off. Every day when I make my bed I have to do this! They come out through the stitching on the channels and boxes. What a pain! This will have to work for me while I look for something else. Very dissapointed-I've been looking for a long time a thought I finally found the perfect comforter. It is light weight but still warm without an extra blanket - but if the feathers continue to come out that will probably change!
