I am very, very happy with the quilt, standard shams and Euro shams set. The colors are true to the picture - rich and harmonious with sea, sand and sky. My son loves the combo in his bedroom because it conveys real earth colors,soothing and tranquil. I wish I had bought another set in Queen before they sold out.

Like one of the other reviewers, I also found this quilt to be far more somber-looking than it appears to be in pictures. The pluses are it is sophisticated looking and the texture is kind of interesting. I haven't washed it, so I can't speak to how well it holds up in that respect.
The solid reverse side in tan is not an inspiring neutral (sorta reminds me of the 70s). When I originally bought the quilt, the description said the back was blue, which was a major reason why I bought it. The store has since corrected the error in the description, and it is correct that the back is tan.
In short, had I seen this in person, I wouldn't have bought it. It is so subdued I got inertia and didn't return it.

I am on my second one. Returned the first one because of poor craftsman ship. Several ripped areas at the seams after first washing. Second one servived the washing machine. However it has one small bad area that I am willing to live with. I would not buy this again.

I am so disappointed, this quilt is way darker than the pictures convey. It's almost depressing. The quality is really good, but the colors are just way too dark.

I love the look and size of this item. However, I was very disappointed to see that some of the seams have started coming apart after just the second washing. Normally, this would be the type of quilt that would last for years. I've already had to repair problem areas, so I'm not sure how this item will hold up.
