i love these things

they are not solid colors, ,that is what makes them so great...the photos are correct, but the color squares are misleading. the neutral shades are especially wonderful. if you are not sure, buy a little one first to check out the color. if you use them outside, it might be cheaper to replace them than have them dry-cleaned. .in-doors:wipe your feet.

Review 2 for Mirage Rug
Not durable or washable
Date:May 19, 2013

I purchased this rug in the blue and the green one year ago and since then both have faded horribly in the sun and show dirt very badly. I machine washed them on the gentle cycle with a no-heat dry and they shrank and bled horribly. Both colors have continued to bleed terribly every time I have washed them since. I'm really disappointed in the quality of this product and while it's not over priced for a rug, I would chose a more durable option if you want it to last longer than a few months. All cotton rugs should be washable, especially since they're used indoors. I've lost too many white towels which were accidentally thrown in the wash with this rug and are now green/blue and refuse to bleach back to white. Ugh!

Review 3 for Mirage Rug
50 shades of NOT grey
Date:May 17, 2013
OK maybe this is why items get color names like "gull" but one thing is for sure the "solid" color Mirage rug is NOT a solid color! Instead of the medium solid grey hue shown online and in the catalog this rug is a kind of stripey, heathery, tweedy combo of multiple shades of BLUE! Yes, a couple of the blues could be considered "slate blues" and slate is generally grey but that's about as close as it gets to being grey. I had considered waiting for a backorder on the "striped" version. Thankfully I didn't. I can't imagine what that actually looks like.
