Perked up my yellowed pillow
Date:August 22, 2011
My mother purchased this pillow for my father from The Company Store over 10 years ago, since then it has seen its fair share of sweat, drool, oil, and lets just say general wear and tear. The pillow and the white pillow cover she ordered so long ago is very yellowed. We have washed the original pillowcase so many times, but it is officially tea stained, haha. When it came time to shop for college, I wanted a big pillow like this to act as a comfy headboard type support in a sterile dorm room. I ordered a new white pillowcase, washed it when I got home and put it on this aincient pillow and voila! The pillow looks brand new! I had hoped to get it in the coral color from Summer 2011, but when I ordered it in early August the color was no longer available, so I got white as an alternative. These pillowcases are made to last though, because the old one we have is free of rips, and the zipper still works perfectly! The actual pillow is in it for the long hall, especially after discovering the facelift it can get from a pillowcase that is less than 30 dollars!
