I am an insomniac and I also have trouble getting quality sleep. I am still an insomniac but the rest I have gotten has been terrific. This pad feels good and does an amazing job of regulating temperature. Thank you company store :-)

I bought my first of these bed pads when looking for a waterproof bed pad to get my oldest child through potty training. With lots of accidents I wanted something that was completely waterproof so we didn't ruin the mattress. I often fall asleep in one or the other of my kids beds after they wake up in the middle of the night, so I get a lot of firsthand use out of these pads.
Before getting this one I had tried the flannel covered pad, which made me feel clammy while sleeping, especially in warm weather. With this one I NEVER have felt sweaty, even on hot nights. It has a very thick pad which is comfortable, quiet (no rustling or crinkling) and very absorbent. If my daughter has an accident, the wetness is very localized since it is well absorbed in the pad. It is also extremely waterproof-- never had any leaking, even if it sits for a few hours and even after a year of frequent washings.
There are only two slight drawbacks to this pad (1) a faint wet sheep smell when it is wet or even a little bit damp and (2) waterproof lining requires extra attention when washing and drying. Because the pad is thick and the waterproof lining so waterproof, water gets trapped in folded over pockets during washing and often creates imbalance in the spin cycle of washing. For the same reason, this pad does not dry well in the dryer, so I almost always hang dry it. Luckily I live in a very dry climate so it dries pretty quickly, but sometimes takes up to 24 hours or more to hang dry, depending on how well it did during the spin cycle. I don't know how these washing/drying issues could be avoided, however, without giving up the excellent benefits of the thick pad and reliable waterproofing.
I loved the first one so much that I got another one for my son's bed, and a third to have clean to change into if one of the kids has an accident. I am about to buy two more of these pads-- one for our master bed in anticipation of co-sleeping with the newest baby on the way, and another for the guest bed for when my newly-potty-trained nephews come for a visit later this summer.
It is well worth the price!
