I wish I could give negative stars. I bought this because I have a black and white dog, so only a dark grey blanket will work. Bought king size. The color was pretty and the size was fine. Then I washed it. It shrank by about 30%; I don't even think it would fit a double bed now. And the amount of fuzz that came out of my dryer, and flew all over my house, could fill a garbage bag. The pilling/shedding is outrageous. And it's not just in the dryer; it's in little balls, stuck all over both sides of the entire blanket. And my carpet. And my house. I honestly can't believe they still sell this blanket. Should be discontinued.

As another reviewer wrote, DON'T BUY THIS BLANKET. The blanket looks good in pictures but does not hold up at all. I washed it exactly per instructions (my husband teases me about how obsessive I am with washing instructions). It shed tremendously in the wash, so much so that it is now thinner than when I took it out of the packaging -- AND that's just ONE washing. Additionally, it is too narrow for a regular twin bed (length seems to be okay). The colors (I bought red/gray) now look terrible because it's so thin and mixed due to the shedding and pilling. And the pilling - it's everywhere. I normally have to contend with dog hair but this pilling makes my clean-up and washing unreasonable. The value of this is just rock-bottom; a real disappointment from a store that I rely on for value and quality products.

I was so excited when I received this blanket since the colors were perfect to use for both winter and summer seasons with it being reversible. I bought it because it was machine washable and all of my bed linens have to be since I have a dog. What a surprise when first it started pilling everywhere and after I washed it, per instructions, it shrank and just barely fits over my king size bed. It continues to pill and just looks sloppy on my bed. I gave it 2 stars because of color and the softness but I as so disappointed to spend this kind of money on a blanket that is of poor quality. Sadly this is my first purchase from this store and may be my last.

DO NOT buy this blanket. It is lovely to look at and the color (blue) is great. The hemstitched edge is very nice. BUT it will shed all over your bedroom and soon it will be all over your house. I have washed it three times (it washes nicely) but we still have blanket everywhere. There is blue fluff on the sheets, pillowcases, under the bed and in every corner of the room. I have spent hours using the lint brush to clean it all up but today I finally give up. Please heed my warning and choose something else.

Wanted a nice wool blanket. These looked great and, while expensive, seemed competitively priced for a nice wool blanket. They arrived and looked AMAZING. I was hopeful. But they are too big for mattress size I ordered, they feel thin, and they shed like crazy. Hope they pan out better in the long run than the initial take. They're too expensive not to be great...
