I have a few of these blankets and use them year-round. They are really nice and wash well but you MUST be careful because the threads will pull and it is really visible once there are a more than a couple of pulls.

This blanket is elegant, very soft and just the right weight when a down comforter is just too much in July. The fit is perfect on my pillow top mattress. So far there are no snags - which is a common complaint with loosely woven cotton blankets. The weave on this one is GORGEOUS. I hope these will be available for a long time. I will buy more as a redecorate my other bedrooms.

This is a beautiful, well-made blanket. It is very soft and is a nice mid weight. Not too heavy or too light. Contrary to another review I have not found that it sheds at all. I washed it first and it gave off a bunch of lint (as all blankets do the first wash). Now no shedding. Well worth the cost.

I first saw the Eloquence blanket a couple of years ago. I had been updating my bedroom paint color and was pricing out possible new bedding options (doing some Company Store dream decorating). I've had the Eloquence blanket (in Summer Melon) almost a year now. It's texture and pattern are gorgeous. It's held up well to launderings and under the duress of my cat's hind claws; no pulls, no thinning, no fading, still super super soft. Perfect weight for year-round use. Love the extra long length. And the Summer Melon color goes beautifully with my walls/ceiling color (a rich sandy brown) and my mix of crisp white and ivory linens. It's a lovely hint of color and a beautiful subtle tone of yellow; not too bright, not too green, almost a richer/deeper ivory.
