We got the Medium Warmth Comforter in "Fern" last year. The color was true to the color on the sample and we were so thrilled that even in the extra snowy, windy nights in the Chicagoland area, we never felt a cold spot anywhere. We think that's because this great comforter has stitching enough to keep the down in place. In the morning, a quick shake and our bed is all made! We love that. The other thing we are having fun with is going through the site and picking seasonal duvet covers for our comforter. We love the flannel ones made in Portugal because they are so soft and don't pill. They also close on the bottom with buttons and have corner pockets that keep our comforter in place. We are so happy with our many purchases from The Company Store, especially our cozy, warm comforter.

Review 2 for LaCrosse® Down Comforter

23 years ago, I bought my first Company Store down quilt for my bed. This quilt that I just bought is its replacement. No kidding! It has lasted that long with a cover. When my daughter was 2 years of age and moving from a crib to a "big girl" bed (twin), I bought her a Company Store down quilt. She still sleeps with that quilt. The flannel cover I bought to go with it is still in good shape. Oh, Did I mention that my daughter is 21 and living in Italy? (No need for a down quilt in Naples.) The quality is amazing! While these quilts are not cheap, they are long lasting and DEFINITE.LY worth the money. Just to mention. . . we also heat our home via a wood stove and living in the Northeast, it can be chilly to down right COLD. Our quilt has kept us warm for years!

Review 3 for LaCrosse® Down Comforter
best comforter ever

We purchased this comforter in the medium warmth about 5 years ago for my son - what a great comforter! It is the perfect warmth without being overbearingly hot in the middle of the night. The down stays in place so you never get bare spots or big lumps (like the ones I purchased elsewhere!). we haven't had any feather leakage, and it has only faded a little after years of use and many washings (my son was 5 when we bought this, so you can imagine that it's been washed a lot!). Last year we purchased another for my adult stepson, and he is just as happy with his. This spring we'll get one for my daughter, too. Highly recommended to all!!
We are very pleased with our new comforter. I have looked and looked for a replacement for our old down comforter which was so wonderful we nicknamed it 'The Kings Blankie'. We were very disappointed in another down comforter we purchased from another company and returned it promptly. I stumbled upon your website. Had never even heard of The Company Store. The quality is wonderful for the price. the shipping was quick. I also appreciate the lifetime guarantee. I had trouble ordering online so I phoned in and the customer service was top notch. The only thing I could possibly complain about is the shell while smooth to the touch is a little stiff and the fabric makes crinkling noises but I believe that will lessen with time and use. Our old 'Kings Blankie' was very soft and silent out of the box but it was microfiber one side and micro mink the other. I wanted 100% cotton thinking it would breathe better.
