I bought the cloud blue medium weight. The color is not remotely like what is shown when you click on the color when ordering. A much darker blue is shown. I now have to pay to return the item I bought with free shipping. Most disappointed.

How utterly embarrassing....I sent my son a queen size White Bay® Goose Down Super Light Comfort Supersize as a gift and then he calls to tell that after barely a couple weeks of use it's leaking feathers everywhere. Not a nice gift that leaves his bedroom a mess of feathers! So now the question is how do I have him ship it back when the box is gone? And do I trust the replacement?

I ordered this comforter more than a month ago and just unpacked it. Wow, there were threads up to 3' long attached and pulling at the stitch line. I rarely sew but I can recognize the tension is not correct, leaving a nice looking stitch on one side, and loose loops on the other.
I don't have the time or energy to send the bulky comforter back, so I'll just hope the stitches don't work their way loose. Not what I expected from The Company Store, and am really disappointed considering the price.

I purchased this comforter mainly because it's available in a super light version. I already had the LaCrosse in Light and found it too warm when put in a duvet cover. This one uses a little higher quality down, and feel slight the weight I needed.
My main issues with it, is that for the price and 'Made in America' label, the quality of construction leaves a lot to be desired. Some of the stitching around the edges and in the baffles is a little sloppy, and it uses lower stitch-counts than other quality down comforters I've owned in the past. I would expect better at this price and Made in USA.
Ultimately I kept it because the weight was right and it's being used in a duvet cover, but if I were using it on it's own, I'd get something better made and nicer looking that might last longer.

Bought a 500-550 fill extra warm comforter and wanted a comforter with more foft and fill, so I bought a 600-650 fill extra warm comforter. Do not like the feather tan color. It is a lot lighter than the sample color. The comforter ended up being two inches shorter in with than my previous comforter. Will probrably have to exchange it for another, including the color. Expected it to have more fill but it is very similar to my other. It is nice and warm when you go to bed but I have noticed as the temperature in my room drops to 62 degrees, I wake up feeling a little cool. however, I would still reccommend the comforter. My next purchase will be a super plush comforter from The Company Store.

I have been looking around for a down comforter for a while, I didnot want one that was white and would have to buy a duvet cover for. My daughter had a TCS catalog and I found what I wanted . I bought the white bay oversized goose down comforter, medium warm. It is so light in weight and keeps us so warm, it is the best comforter I ever had. Also I am very happy with the pillow shams,they fit the pillows prefectly, the color is not exactly the same as the comforter, but I don't care, throw a couple of other color pillows on top and you don't realize the difference. Called your customer service line a couple of times to ask questions and was happy with the time they took and their answers. thank you ,I love my comforter and pillow shams.

For the other reviews none of the comforters state they come with a cover. A duvet is a french word for comforter. I have no compliants except selection of colors but I use a duvet so it really wasnt a big deal I just dont like light colors. Price was right, they are always offering promotions which is helpful absolutely love this company and their friendly terrific service.

Purchased White Bay Medium Warmth in supersize last month and am very pleased with it. Picture is somewhat misleading as it doesn't look as puffy as shown but overall it is as described. One complaint I might have is that the cover is somewhat noisy and slides around a bit. Have just purchased a duvet cover for it and that most likely will solve that problem. I see from another review that she complained regarding the description of a comporter and duvet cover. I knew from the get-go that there would not be a separate cover but the description is very misleading. TCS describes all their comporters this way. I would order this comporter again without reservation. I do believe TCS shipping costs are a bit high so watch for free shipping to be included. One other suggestion would be to have pictures change with color chosen instead of just showing the small color swatch. It would be easier for choosing color.

I ordered this comforter in oversized and medium warmth. I have had it since July 2010 and absolutely love it! It is so soft and comfortable and has held up after numerous washes. I am back today to order two more for my kids since they can't seem to stay off of mine!
