I had high hopes for this comforter! I purchased the crochet stripes version. The overall length/width is much shorter than the stated dimensions. We have a queen size platform bed and the width was just barely wide enough - not sure it would work well with a standard bed. When I mentioned this to customer service I was told the size that is posted on the website is for the material prior to it being sewn together so there are three inches of "wiggle room" allowed. The colors were much more muted than the photos online, which I was okay with. The quality was disappointing and I was not okay with that. The craftsmanship was extremely poor! I had to send the first one back due to defects. I asked for a replacement and that one was bad too! There are circles stitched onto the top of the comforter, they are sloppy - there was a lot of excess thread and the stitching is a cream color so it stands out. Had it been slate/navy thread, maybe it wouldn't have been so noticeable. On my first comforter, an entire row (from top to bottom) of the circles stitching had been removed from whomever sewed it and then they restitched it, about 1/2 inch over. The holes were visible from where the stitching was removed and I was worried washing it would make the holes get bigger. This comforter should have been put in an outlet store! I called customer service and they were wonderful. I was shipped a new comforter and the other was picked up. The "new comforter" also was poorly made. This one had stitching removed (again visible holes!) along the bottom seam and was restitched too! (Stitching on top of comforter was sloppy too.) So again, I called customer service and decided to just return the comforter and will go with a Company Store quilt. It's disappointing because I bought two sets of matching sheets/shams so it all has to go back! :( FYI - this comforter is made in China. When I spoke with customer service and mentioned that I was concerned that it was made in China, the customer service rep assured me that they have high standards at their China facility. I'm not convinced though so I'm going with a quilt made in India.

This is the best comforter I have ever owned. I am getting ready to order another 1 for our house in NC. It's warm, soft and cuddley. Thanks Company Store.
