Beware: construction defect in pink unit

I ordered one pink and one white unit. The white one was perfect. However the pink unit, once assembled showed cracks in side and top panels coming from the back piece's screws. I ordered another pink piece, which once assembled showed the same defect. I think the issue comes from the back screws which are too fat for the wood and different in the white unit. I am unwilling to try again (more assembling and de-assembling) but I am afraid the cracks will just keep getting bigger. So I recommend " do not buy the pink unit.

Ordered 3 for the playroom. One of the doors was broken. CS quickly fixed the issue. Next week I Decided to order 2 for my daughters room... One was slightly off, didn't stack right and was just a slight smaller. Called CS again they were helpful but turns out that I have ordered the "old" model and the new ones are slightly different. Website doesn't give you an option they just ask which color you want. After three attempts I was finally able to order another "old" model. I would not have been a big deal to have either old or new models. Just know that they don't mix. Good luck. If you change your mind about buying door vs no door. You can easily remove the door if you choose!

I love the idea and look of these stackable shelves and they were relatively easy to put together. However, I bought the ones with the doors, which I thought would be great to hide the mess, but the second I tried opening the doors they broke. The inside part (the only part that actually came pre-assembled) popped right off and now they don't close evenly and look terrible.
The open shelves that come without the doors seem to hold up much better but expose the mess. All in all a disappointing purchase.

I now have seven of these stackable shelves in my home. All are used for my children's belongings - from craft supplies to toys to books. They are very easy to assemble and seem to hold up well (the oldest ones I own are now five years old).

We bought these bins for our playroom four years ago and I have been thrilled! They stack easily, provide great storage, look awesome, and have had stood the test of time. We ended up buying a total of 11 bins and they are worth every penny. I get tons of compliments from other moms who have playroom organization envy. BUY THESE!

I purchased 3 open bins (blue) and 3 bookshelves (red) for our playroom. I am fully DELIGHTED with the appearance and functionality of these pieces! Assembly was straightforward, and I appreciate that each piece was labeled. The thin back for one was slightly dented, but it still fit together with the piece. I am very pleased with the darkness of the color; the blue is actually navy, and the red is a deep red. I think the colors look lighter online. I highly recommend these for a child's room or playroom.

I bought thee stackable storage collection both the open and ones with the doors. They're fairly easy to put together, look great in a playroom (I got blue ones and red ones . . . and the red bookshelf, too), and have generally withstood my two year old's not-so-delicate ways. The only complaints (if you can call them that) are that the wood was cracked . . . probably in shipping (and generally in the back or bottom) and that the screws fastening the metal piece, which holds the doors has come loose so that the door does not really function well anymore. Hopefully, it's an easy fix and I don't have to take the entire system apart. All things being said and done, though, I really like these!
